Re: Global Warming: Causes and Effects

It happened again. The enlargement of the picture I wanted to show you. I don't know if it will repair by itself but I will post a link here of it just in case it doesn't. Here it is:

Global Warming: Causes and Effects

Here's an elaborate picture of the causes and effects of Global Warming. I reckon that this is the best picture to describe Global Warming ever. Enjoy!

Tips

How to reduce Global Warming:
1. Change an old incandescent bulb to a more energy efficient compact fluorescent bulb.
2. Use public transport when you can.
3. Walk, run, jog, stroll or bike a short distance when possible.
4. Compost.
5. Use recycled paper.
6. Buy minimally packaged group.
7. Unplug electronics after use.
8. Wash your dishes with ONLY a full load.
9. Turn off your lights when you leave a room.
10. Use a laptop instead of a desktop preferably.

(Note: This is only the top 10 of my list, there are still many other ways to reduce Global Warming. For more information, go to http://www.effectofglobalwarming.com)

What we forgot

****. We just learnt from our 'informants' that we had to post a whole lot more of reports. (Well, not really, only two.) We are rushing to complete it in order to post it as soon as possible. unfortunately, we can't post it in school because the internet is TOOO S-L-O-W. Hope we don't get marks deducted for this. :(
(P.S. Hope you don't mind my informality. If you do, please comment and I will edit the posts. D:)
[Double P.S. Please, please, please, don't deduct marks for this. Thanks. (And I'm referring to my informality as well.)]

Updates

Hehe. We're now trying to make a movie at www.xtranormal.com. Kinda user-friendly, xtranormal is. Had a hell lot of fun making them say different scripts and do different animations. Little difficulties were experienced 'cept for making a movie that everyone is fine with, as different people have different views. We'll be sure to upload a image of our movie (Or even upload the movie itself, if that is possible) soon. Further updates are available soon.

(P.S. Don't know why we can't figure out how to apply our own colours to the movie. :( Trying to fix this little obstacle as soon as possible. :D)

Current status

We're currently researching on the first section of the topic 'Champions of the Earth', global warming. We were able to find some reliable websites, such as Wikipedia (The picture above was adapted from Wikipedia), to help us with our research. Editing of additional or/and unnecessary information is currently undergoing progress. Stay tuned for updates.

(P.S. The picture can't be uploaded as the internet connection in school is too slow. :P I will upload it at home as soon as possible. :D)

Our Group Formation

Term 1 Week 1 (Lesson 1)

Today, our group had our first taste of  GRACE . GRACE stands for Group Research and Collaboration Expedition, it is formerly known as Interdisciplinary Project Work. (IPW)

For the first half of the lesson, we had some difficulties trying to create our group blog. We struggled for a while but we managed to solve the problem.

After that, we did a survey for the lesson and was also given the task to finish the 1st worksheet to post it online and to file it in our group file. (Luckily we finished it ALL on time, well, not really. Hehe. :P)

Members of our group:
Index  21 Ng Hao Yi
           22 Ng Jun  Yi
           23 Ng Yew Jin (Leader)
           24 Peh Jun Kai

Group Name: Virus ( Subject to change)

(P.S. Actually, we didn't really have many difficulties creating our blog. It was just that we had used up all our emails and we had to create a whole new one. Took up quite alot of time, I must say. :P)
(Double P.S. Hope you didn't mind our little exaggeration. :P)
(Triple P.S. This post was originally posted by Jun Kai, and was later edited by me, Junyi. Don't mind the boring old serious him. :P)
